Fire Safety Training

In Association with NUCO Training we fully qualified and are able to give courses to staff in the office and work place.
This is a general awareness course which is classroom based.

Course Summary

Level 1:

Principles of fire safety
Fire safety in the workplace
Domestic fire safety
Fire prevention
Fire risk assessment process

Additionally we can train candidates to Level 2 which covers:

Duties and responsibilities of the fire marshal.

Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to:

List their obligations and that of their employer with regard to fire safety
Describe actions to be taken in the event of a fire occurring at work
Identify the correct fire extinguisher for use on a range of different fires
Describe how fires occur and spread
Describe how they can reduce the risk of fire occurring
Understand how they may reduce the threat of fire in their home
Understand the duties that are undertaken by the fire marshal

Fire Safety Awareness Level 1 – Half Day.

The qualification is an ideal introduction into fire safety awareness for employees and a strong basis for undertaking further fire safety training.

You will no doubt be well aware of the potentially devastating effects of fires in the workplace in terms of lives lost, injuries, damage to property and the environment, and to the business continuity.

You may also be aware that it is believed that most fires are preventable. The importance of fire safety in the workplace is underpinned by health and safety legislation that places a duty on employers to establish policies and procedures and ensure their employees receive appropriate training.

On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Level 1 national qualification issued to the learner, subject to successfully completing the test paper.

This course is Regulated by Ofqual under their Regulated Quality Framework (RQF) and accredited by the FAA.
Duration: A half day course of classroom-based theory input.
