The Manual Handling training will consist of the following modules and should take approximately 3 hours to complete.

Delegates are reminded to wear suitable clothing including hard hat gloves and work boots or shoes with protective toe caps.

Please be advised that dirty workwear will not be permitted in the classroom and may result in you being asked to leave the course.

• (MSD) Musculoskeletal Disorders
• Manual Handling injuries
• Prevention of MSD
• Duties of the Employers and Employees
• Good handling techniques for lifting
• Good handling techniques for pushing and pulling
• Manual Handling Assessment Chart (HSE)
• Practical exercise and theory assessments

The Practical exercise will consist of delegates correctly and safely picking up and moving various items and equipment relevant to their working role within a safe and controlled environment.
